Jersey City, NJ — With over twenty years in music, the dynamic New Jersey-based contemporary Gospel ensemble Anthony Ponder & Ministry’s Desire (APMD) is an aggregate of singers rooted in ministry.  They vocally deliver innovative arrangements with authentic intensity and compassion.  APMD has topped the Billboard and iTunes charts with “That’s Just Favor” featuring Lena Byrd Miles and their album THE PROCESS featuring guest appearances by Vashawn Mitchell, Nancey Jackson-Johnson, and Natalie Wilson on the hit “Favor.”

APMD has been in the studio finishing their   new album and has released its first single, “God Won’t Fail.”

“God Won’t Fail” is written by Ponder, Melissa Tatro, and Jonathan Ponder.  The single is released by Enon Music Group and is available on all digital music outlets now.  “God Won’t Fail” is from APMD’s forthcoming album, THE GRATEFUL PROJECT, which will be available this fall.

“God Won’t Fail comes from personal reflections on God’s track record in my life,” Ponder shares.  “I learned that anything I COULD worry about, the answer remained the same – God Won’t Fail.”

Immediately after releasing “God Won’t Fail” on digital outlets, Anthony and his anointed singers and musicians won the 2022 Best Urban Contemporary Group at the 7th Annual Kindred Music Awards in Wilmington, DE.  The Kindred Music Awards were given out on June 25 in the Gospel, Rap, Spoken Word, Folk, CCM, Rock, and R&B categories.  The Kindred Awards were created to encourage and celebrate unity in the local music scene and ministry throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New York.
